I live in Rio, Wisconsin on a small farm, where I currently have six horses, four dogs, and a handful of barn cats. In the appropriate season, I maintain a very productive garden and love to be outside, whether it is working with the horses, playing with the dogs or doing stuff in the garden.

I am an active with Shelter from the Storm, an all-breed cat and dog rescue based in Madison, Wisconsin. I volunteer by fostering dogs when there is a need and helping place them in a forever home. I have also volunteered with humane societies, helping them with activities such as the Low Cost Spay/ Neuter program.  In fact, I donate $1 for EACH item purchased off of my website to Shelter from the Storm to help the animals.

I became an independent distributor of natural wax candles and gourmet products in 2007.  I really enjoy the products and the people I have met at craft and vendor shows. In 2008, I expanded my product line to include more choices in electric simmer pots and outlet plug-in warmers, as well as more simmer wax manufacturers. My products have really taken off - there's a huge interest in these quality items. I have always been interested in photography and I love taking photos of flowers, animals, people, you name it! I sell matted prints in 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10. I am available to travel to location to take pictures, kids, family, engagement, senior pictures, or even of your dog, horse or other animals. This past year was especially rewarding taking Senior pictures of many of Cole’s classmates. Each session is as individual as the student and it is fun finding great locations to shoot the pictures. During the filming of Public Enemies, released in July 2009,  I had the opportunity to photograph Johnny Depp and the set. The proofs are up on my Flickr page. Any of these photos are available to purchase, with cropping and retouching done to those ordered.
