I live in Rio, Wisconsin on a small farm, where I currently have 5 horses, three dogs and a handful of barn cats. In the appropriate season, I maintain a very productive garden and love to be outside, spending time with the horses or dogs, or tending to the garden and yard.

I actively volunteer with Patches Animal Rescue, an all-breed rescue based in Beaver Dam, WI. They take in animals from the greater Dodge County area and provide medical care, assess behavior and place them in new homes. I often have foster dogs that come in and out of my life, and I enjoy finding them the perfect family. I have also volunteered with different humane societies and rescue groups, helping with activities such as the Low Cost Spay Neuter program. I believe that even though I can’t save all of the animals, if I can help out one or two at a time, at least that will make a difference to that animal, and I love them like my own when they are with me. Every item purchased off of my website results in $1 per item being donated to Patches Animal Rescue to help with financial needs that arise from bringing the animals up-to-date on their medical needs and food.
